Our Mission Statement

We, the Parish of Saint Matthew, whose members form the faith communities of St.Matthew and Our Lady of Charity churches, united in the Spirit and Mission of Jesus Christ, who is the center of our joy, are nourished by our celebration of the Holy Eucharist to bear witness of our Crucified and Risen Lord in our daily walk.

 

Blessed with the richness of our cultural diversity, we journey together, attending to the needs of our brothers and sisters in prayerful fellowship.

 

 Mindful of our Baptismal call to discipleship in the Roman Catholic Tradition, we are striving to achieve the Christian attitudes of encouragement, inspiration and empowerment. 

Empowered by the Holy Spirit, our gifts of love and faith are shared with everyone who joins us in daily prayer, praise, celebration and thanksgiving. We are an oasis for travelers and a resting place for sojourners. We are the home for those who believe in God, the Most Holy Trinity, our Comforter and Guide. All are welcome to join us.
